Step by Step Academy is owned and operated by Mrs. Claudette Bart.
Mrs. Bart has been a child care provider for 25 years and is a board member for the UFT Providers chapter. In addition to her volunteer work with other providers, Mrs. Bart and her staff engage in regular professional development training to ensure they continue to offer quality care for the children in her daycare.
With her experience and skills in the child care industry any child enrolled in her program will receive the best of care in her daycare.

Step by Step Academy​ is fully licensed by the Office of Children and Family Services and regulated by the New York City Department of Health.

Child Safety
Safety in child care is important, and as a precaution for emergencies, Step by Step Academy has regular fire drills and shelter in place drills as per Department of Health Regulations.

All staff are CPR/First Aid trained and must be cleared through background and medical checks in order to work with the children.
